INTENTION

Dream House N. 274 was a temporary, immersive transformation of MH Studios’ atelier in São Paulo into a fantastical space for imagination, reflection, and inspiration. Over ten days, the studio was reimagined as an environment where visitors could connect with their dream worlds, both literal and metaphorical. Aligned with the launch of MH Studios’ new 2025 Trent Planner, the experience of Sonho N. 274 was designed as a reminder that a house —used here as a metaphor for the self — need not conform to outside expectations, or to what it “should” be. It can, instead, become everything we’ve ever dreamed of.

What happened

Ultimately, Sonho N. 274 was an ode to reinvention. By turning an seemingly ordinary atelier into a living dream, it reminded guests that the spaces we inhabit — just like the lives we lead — can be entirely reimagined when guided by curiosity, care, and creative freedom. Beyond its doors, the house dissolved into dream logic. Corridors became memory museums, a plush bedroom turned into a surreal cocoon, and hidden rituals unfolded through films, sound healing, whispered stories, and intimate dinners. Guided by Morpheus, guests wandered through playful encounters and immersive rooms where every object, soundtrack, and gesture invited wonder, introspection, and the feeling of stepping inside someone else’s dream. The program spanned across sensory and emotional experiences: a curated lineup of dream-themed films played daily in the TV and game room; ping-pong tournaments added a layer of joyful spontaneity; and each day included wellness practices like yoga, mindfulness sessions, or sound healing, each connected to themes of the subconscious and inner exploration. Evening dinners were offered to a select number of guests and were crafted to evoke the surreal and symbolic dimensions of dreaming, encouraging deep conversation. In the bedroom, children’s stories were read aloud, and the Confessonhário experience unfolded in intimate, vulnerable circles (read more about it here).
