INTENTIONMeetings on the Couch explored how a familiar domestic object could become a temporary stage for vulnerability and presence. Created for a festival context, the work invited participants to interrupt the social speed around them and test what becomes possible when two people share a seat, a question, and a moment of attention.
What happenedInstalled as an intimate meeting point, the couch gathered participants for brief encounters guided by listening, conversation, and shared presence. Rather than treating the sofa as furniture, the work transformed it into a small architecture of trust: a place where strangers could pause, sit side by side, and allow a simple conversation to become a ritual of recognition.
